垂直攪拌系統主要由五部分組成，即垂直攪拌器部分，冷卻循環部分，吊車行走機構部分，水包支架和升降系統部分，爬梯操作平臺部分。整套系統裝在熔窯的卡脖位置，當攪拌器工作時，下部的攪拌葉片把玻璃液攪動成一個個渦流，這些渦流相互干涉、碰撞，進入成型區的玻璃液都經過垂直攪拌器的攪拌，從而使玻璃液的物理均勻性和化學均勻性都大大得到改善。起吊行走機構用于對垂直攪拌器安裝、維修和保養。

The lifting and traveling units is used for installation, repair and maintenance of the vertical glass mixer.
